John Lawson

John’s three loves in life are family, work and giving back. John is a Senior Wealth Advisor serving business owners and affluent families in the Lower Mainland from his offices in Abbotsford and Surrey BC. He was previously awarded the Five Star Wealth Manager Award, and had an Honourable Mention for Advisor of the Year.

As a community volunteer John was instrumental in developing the Speakers' Bureau for the Canadian Cancer Society's Fraser Valley Region, for which he received the "Award of Excellence in Volunteer Leadership." Following that, he served on the Board of Directors for Big Brother Big Sisters of Fraser Valley for eight years, playing a key role in fund development and executive strategy, and currently sits as the Chair for SurreyCares, the Foundation of our Community. 

John and his wife Cara, live in Ocean Park where Cara has her Interior Design Studio. His two sons Rhys and Graydon, carry on the family's entrepreneurial spirit as well, working on their own businesses with Rhys just having graduated and Graydon still attending the University of Victoria.
